As the ringette community is a small one, I wanted to let you know some sad news.
A few days ago in Calgary there was a single vehicle roll over. Meghan Bomford (17) has died from her injuries. Kelsey Nelson (teammate) and Shaun Bomford (driver and Meghan's father) are both in critical condition. The Calgary North West Ringette and Cal-East Ringette Associations are working on making counselling available for those who need it and setting up fundraising efforts.
SGRA is thinking of our friends in Calgary and will make a contribution in some way. We encourage you to hug your loved ones a little longer
