Team Hostesses needed for the 2017 Canadian Ringette Championhsip (CRC)

?Hello All SGRA U10, U12, and U14 Families,

Please see the following message from the 2017 Canadian Ringette Championships (CRC) organizing committee...

We will be offering a Team Hostess Program during the CRC event, opening ceremonies March 26, 6:30 PM, and games March 27 thru April 1. Games will be played at Leduc, Beaumont, and Devon (Monday & Tuesday only).

We are looking for 74+ girls who are interested in participating in this program.

Obviously the girls are not expected to be at everything with the team, but what they can.

If your daughter is interested in participating can you please reply to me at glowingsuccess@shaw.ca and let me know what association you are with, what age group, and what availability she would have throughout the week. If there is a friend she would like to be partnered with specifically please also include that.

I have included some information below as to what the program is about....but if you have any further questions please feel free to contact me.

We will be providing two (2) U10, U12 or U14 players as a team Hostess for each U16AA and U19AA teams participating in the 2017 Freson Bros. Canadian Ringette Championships.

Players are assigned as hostesses to provide these young athletes the opportunity to experience a high level of Ringette and to generate excitement for the event.

The hostesses will:

· Attend the opening ceremonies with your team

· Watch and cheer on your team

· Participate in other team activities that take place at the rink

· Attend other functions when invited by your team

· Hostesses are not allowed on the player benches for games, nor do they get medals when the team wins

Note: Due to space restrictions, Hostesses will not be extended an invitation to the Closing Ceremony and Banquet.

Team managers will be given the contact information for their hostesses prior to the event, and then will contact you.

Transportation of the hostesses to all functions will be the responsibility of her parent(s) /guardian(s) and not their assigned team.
