Hello U10 Parents!!!
Are we all ready to hit the ice this weekend?!!!!!
Please read all information in this email as there are some important housekeeping items.
This year the U10 division is going to proceed a bit differently than in previous years due to the restrictions we are required to follow as put forward by AHS and Ringette Alberta.
First we are not doing the traditional UAA skate for U10 and going straight into scrimmages. Please see below for the groups and times. They will have 2 scrimmage skates at Stu Barnes.
SATURDAY SEPTEMBER 19
GROUP 1: 7AM TO 8 AM
GROUP 2: 8:30AM TO 9:30AM
GROUP 3: 10AM TO 11AM
SUNDAY SEPTEMBER 20
GROUP 3: 8:30AM TO 9:30AM
GROUP 2: 10 AM TO 11AM
GROUP 1: 11:30 TO 12:30PM
I am looking to fill some volunteer slots: 2 per bench, 1 on ice, 1 timekeeper, 2 for checkin ..... so 6 for each group. These individuals will assist in checking-in athletes and directing traffic to ensure we are maintaining proper physical distancing from the time athletes arrive to the time they leave the rink. As well to work the benches and time box. We must fill these roles in order to proceed with the evaluations.
All volunteers must wear masks at all times! Volunteers will need to provide their own masks.
If you are able to help, please contact us at u10dir@sprucegroveringette.com.
