U14 SCRIMMAGE SKATE GROUPINGS AND INFO FOR SEPT 19/20

Good afternoon U14 families,

Below are the groupings for the U14 Scrimmage Skates this upcoming weekend.

Please note that due to keeping within covid cohort guidelines, we are not able to use goalies for these scrimmages. All scrimmage skates for both groups will use shooter tutors, etc in lieu of on ice goalies.

Also - each group will have staggered entry for check-in - please read carefully below.

Group #1

Saturday, Sept 19^th 10:15am - 11:15am TLC-N Scrimmage #1

Sunday, Sept 20^th 14:30pm - 15:30pm TLC-N Scrimmage #2

Volunteers:

I will need 2 volunteers per bench, 2 timebox and 1 registration table for each skate. If there is no shuffling of teams I would like to use the same volunteers so if you can help both ice times please indicate that to me when you email to volunteer.

ALL PLAYERS AND VOLUNTEERS MUST ARRIVE TO THE RINK WITH A COMPLETED AND SIGNED SGRA ATTESTATION FORM AND A MASK FOR EACH SKATE.

COVID-19 GUIDELINES AT THE RINKS:

PLAYERS ARE TO ARRIVE DRESSED (except skates, helmet, gloves) AND SHOULD BE READY 15 MINUTES PRIOR TO ICE TIME.
PLAYERS MUST LINE UP OUTSIDE THE STU BARNES DOORS, PLEASE DO NOT ENTER. THERE WILL BE A VOLUNTEER AT THE DOORS ALLOWING CERTAIN AMOUNT OF PLAYERS IN AT A TIME. (FOR UAA AT TLC - PLEASE PROCEED TO THE LINEUP AT THE BACK OF THE FACILITY.)
PLEASE PHYSICAL DISTANCE WHEN LINED UP AND WEAR A MASK. MASKS ARE MANDATORY UNTIL PLAYERS GO ON THE ICE AND UPON COMPLETION OF THE SKATE AND WHILE EXITING THE BUILDING.
THERE WILL BE VOLUNTEERS IN THE LOBBY MANAGING PLAYERS COMING INTO THE RINK THROUGHOUT THE CHECK-IN PROCESS.
PLAYERS MUST TURN IN AN SGRA ATTESTATION FORM AT CHECK IN.
PLEASE BRING FILLED WATER BOTTLES AS THERE MAY NOT BE FOUNTAINS AND SHARING OF WATER IS NOT ALLOWED.
ONE PARENT/GUARDIAN ONLY (NO SIBLINGS). PARENTS MUST WAIT OUTSIDE THE RINK UNTIL CHECK IN IS COMPLETE. UPON ENTERING, PARENTS MUST PROCEED DIRECTLY TO THE STANDS WHERE THEY MUST MAINTAIN PHYSICAL DISTANCING. MASKS ARE MANDATORY IN THE FACILITY. PARENTS WHO NEED TO TIE SKATES WILL ONLY BE ALLOWED IN PRIOR TO SKATE AND MUST EXIT FACILITY OR GO DIRECTLY TO STANDS.
ALL VISITING BY PARENTS MUST BE DONE OUTSIDE THE RINK BEFORE / AFTER THE SKATE.
PLAYERS MUST LEAVE FACILITY IMMEDIATELY AFTER THE SKATE.
ALL PLAYERS AND SPECTATORS MUST ADHERE TO BOTH THE ABOVE AND ALL POSTED FACILITY GUIDELINES.

PARENTS - PLEASE READ THE ABOVE GUIDELINES AND FOLLOW THEM. SET THE EXAMPLE!

Please have a discussion with your player ahead of tomorrow's skate regarding compliance with masks and physical distancing when they arrive at the rink as well as throughout check-in process. Players are expected to listen and follow all instructions from parent volunteers.

We understand there will be excitement seeing others, including within parents groups, however while within the facility it is imperative that we follow all rules and regulations.
