Good Afternoon!
Welcome to the 2018-2019 Ringette season! My name is Tammie Bowie and I will be the manager for this season.
First off, I want to thank Shelagh for stepping up to be our Head Coach and Sarah, Dean, Aaron and Mark for stepping up to be our Assistant Coaches.
For our season to go as smoothly as possible, we need the following positions filled as soon as possible. There are 13 girls on our team so everyone needs to help out with a volunteer position. Please let me know what position you would like to volunteer for. I can be contacted by email @ tamarabowie@icloud.com or phone/text @ 780-266-2271.
1 - Treasurer - responsible for the finances - collecting seed cheques, bank deposits, budget, etc. We will need to set up an appointment to open an account as soon as possible.
2 - Sweetheart coordinators - responsible to help organize the Sweetheart Tournament in February.
2 - Social coordinators - responsible to organize team bonding, meals etc.
1 - Timekeeper coordinator - responsible to make up a schedule of the box workers.
1 - Tournament coordinator - responsible for applying for tournaments.
1 - Fundraising coordinator - responsible for coordinating the association wide fundraisers and any fundraising our team wants to do (bottle drive, etc.).
1 - Apparel coordinator - responsible for coordinating the apparel for the team.
2 - Jersey parents (1 for white jerseys and 1 for green jerseys) - responsible to get the jerseys to all games.
Our next practices are:
Saturday, September 29 - 7:00am-8:00am - Stu Barnes Arena
Sunday, September 30 - 10:30am-11:30am - Stu Barnes Arena
Mark your calendars!! Shelagh has graciously offered up her house for our first team bonding. It will be on Sunday, September 30 after our practice. Please join us from 12:00-2:00pm for a wiener roast so the parents and girls can get to know each other. Her address is 29 Marion Crescent, Spruce Grove - I will send out a separate email with more details.
