VOLUNTEERS

To All Members,

During this evaluation period, I would like to remind everyone to please show respect to our volunteers that put in many hours and time into making this season happen. Without these volunteers, we would never be able to have our children play this sport. Volunteers dedicate their time to SGRA, they need to be shown appreciation and respect. SGRA will be follow the Discipline Policy procedure, if code of conduct is not followed.

Please feel free to review the Code of Conduct policy and Discipline Policy, which you can find on our website.

Also please remember that if you have any questions or concerns, to follow the 24 hour rule. Our volunteers also have their own families and jobs, and need their own time as well as time to answer your concerns. This also allows for a period of time where people can cool down and assess the situation.

SGRA has already previously explained and reminded everyone that this is not a normal season.

As we all well aware, we are in a pandemic and SGRA is and will be committed to making this season the best for our players as we possibly can.

Evaluations look different, team sizes look different, practices and games will look different.

We cannot control this, we just have to make the best of it and feel grateful that our players have the opportunity still to play.

Thank you,

Michelle Viney
