2022/23 Evaluations
Evaluations for the SGRA 2022-2023 season will begin September 1, 2022. This is an Association start date and not necessarily the start date for the U19 Division. Specific dates and time are forthcoming with all pertinent information being posted to the SGRA U19 Homepage for easy reference. An email will also be sent out to all registered players notifying them of the evaluation start dates and time.
EVALUATIONS
As most are already aware, this year SGRA has contracted a third party evaluation firm to complete evaluations. Please reference the Evaluations Guide for detailed information. Evaluations for U19 will be game play situations. Following each ice time, I will be sending out emails relating to the next skate time and any other required information. I will not be providing feedback or ranking information. Evaluation skates are mandatory.
PLAYER POSITIONS
Please send me your players 1st and 2nd choice position. This may have been included on your registration but for accuracy purposes, I would ask that this information be sent to me as well.
VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
I am looking for 6 volunteers to assist with each evaluation skate. Specific roles will be determined once volunteers are identified. If you would like to volunteer and you have experience in a particular role, please let me know.
As we get ready to start the season, I am aware that this may be the last year for some of the players. As this years U19 Director, I would like to take the time throughout the season to acknowledge the contributions that our U19 players have made to the Spruce Grove Ringette Association. Please stay tuned to the U19 Homepage for details on how we will be showing our appreciation and admiration for these athletes before they move on.
