Kids in the Crowd Oct. 21
Hello Team,
We have our first team event booked! We will be attending a University Ringette game on Sunday October 21st at the Leduc Recreation Centre, Robinson Arena, as part of the Kids in the Crowd program. Plan to begin activities at 4:15 with the University Ringette team, stay for the game which begins at 5:15 and after the game our team will be given free University Ringette t-shirts which our players can have signed by the University Ringette team, if desired.
There is no charge for our team to attend this Kids in the Crowd event. Siblings, parents, friends, relatives, etc. are encouraged to come along and enjoy the event. There is ample seating for all.
From 4:15-5:15, our players will have ample opportunity to visit with the University players and participate in their pre-game warm up routine. Approximately 30 minutes before game time our players will be taken to an area where they will be provided with all the necessary supplies to make their own decorative ringette posters. We ask that coaches and parents supervise the girls while they make their posters for approximately 20 minutes.
At the conclusion of the game our players will all receive a free University Ringette T-shirt that they can have autographed by the University team if desired.
The University Ringette team is comprised of student athletes attending the University of Alberta and MacEwan University. The various fields of study being pursued by these 18 players include: engineering, nursing, physiotherapy, law enforcement, education, medicine, kinesiology, and veterinary medicine.
