Ringette Alberta's Board of Directors has decided the status quo for AA Ringette (and the implications for A and B ringette) will not continue for the 2020/21 season. Instead, Ringette Alberta will continue to move towards implementing truly distinct participation contexts, one of which is Excellence ringette.
You are invited to participate in a very important stakeholder consultation meeting on Sunday, November 17, 2019 in Red Deer.
The purpose of this meeting is to provide all stakeholders with the same baseline information and give you the opportunity to help shape the path forward. If you have an opinion on what that looks like, you need to engage now. The window of opportunity for consultation and engagement is not very long after November 17th.
Who should attend?
Every one of the following stakeholders will be affected by the changes we are discussing: - Current and hopeful NRL players
- All U19 players (AA, A, B)
- All U16 players (AA, A, B)
- All U14 players (AA, A, B, C)
- Parents of the above players
- U14, U16, U19 coaches
- Local ringette association/club board members
Decide to attend (or not) now.
The registration deadline is Friday, November 8th. Registration after this deadline is not guaranteed as there is information attendees must review prior to the meeting. We also need to provide attendance information to the event location staff. Last minute registration is not conductive to an effective meeting so attendees must allocate sufficient time to familiarise themselves with the background information before attending the meeting.

Frances Losier, Ringette Canada's Director of High Performance, will share more information about Ringette Canada's High Performance Plan and be a resource throughout the meeting.
There is not charge to attend, however, space is limited.
